How to Start a Campus
Step One:
Apply for the Campus Set Up Helper with application forms
Step Two:
Complete the Campus Application (click here to download) and submit the following package:*
□ Complete campus application form
□ Pictures of the host pastor, director and the campus facilities
□ Faculty member application forms in separate envelopes (incl. recommendation letters, passport photos etc.)
Host Pastor, Director, Registrar and 2 Instructors including applicable MLE application forms
□ Application fees (see form for details)
Step Three:
Head Office sends out two copies of the Official Agreement
Campus signs both copies and returns them to the Head Office
Step Four:
Head Office signs both copies, keeps one and sends the other copy along with the Start Up Package*
Campus Guideline Handbook, including:
- Welcome Letter, Director’s Exam, (worth 3 credits for Director and perhaps registrar/administrator),
Program # 1, Textbook List - Annual Letter of Confirmation with the LICU Campus Agreement
- LICU Campus Guideline Handbook
- Writing and Grading Guidelines
- Instructor’s and Student’s Handbook
Campus Wall Certificate
Master Copies for reproduction purposes at your Campus Office:*
- Complete set of all campus forms (administration/faculty/student forms)
- Instructor’s and Student’s Handbook, master copy
Step Five:
Head Office assesses campus application received and processes letters of acceptance etc.
Step Six:
Campus returns the Director’s Exam and continues the preparation process: Submitting academic calendar and student applications/fees; preparing for orientation days etc.
Step Seven:
Upon successful conclusion, Campus Directors’ letter and certificate will be issued, along with student letters of acceptance and assessment documents
Step Eight:
Once the completed academic calendar and first course payments have been received, the Head Office sends out first instructor and student syllabus notes.
*Note: for campuses that are receiving special discount offers, all materials are provided as printable PDF attachments. Also all respective documents can be submitted to the Head Office via email attachments rather than sent through mail.
