Welcome to Connecting for Excellence International
Our passion at Alan Pateman World Missions is for apostolic connectedness, connecting people in ministry. It all started with a brief encounter with an organisation in the UK called, Friends in Ministry. Soon after we launched Connecting for Excellence International in 1992 (a network in fellowship), expanding beyond England into Europe, America, Africa and Asia.
Connecting for Excellence (CFE) was born from a deep passion to unite like-minded individuals—those in leadership within the Body of Christ, including those leading Parachurch Organisations (including those who desire to support such ministries); eager to work together to impact the world for God’s kingdom. Our journey began in England, where several local churches and a city church were planted, under the apostolic cover that is now CFE International Apostolic Fellowship, but was formally known as IFN which stands for, International Family Network.
At CFE, we believe isolation is a curse—ministers are not meant to stand alone. Paul the Apostle worked in and with apostolic teams, building strong relationships and partnerships to ensure effectiveness. Likewise, we foster an environment where apostolic leaders can collaborate, cross-pollinate, and strengthen one another for doing God’s work globally with accountability.
Our Mission: A Place of Growth, Connection & Impact
Many who enter Bible school begin with passion, eager to serve God. Yet, after training, they often feel as though they have been left on a cliff’s edge—without a clear path to use their gifts. CFE exists to bridge that gap.
We Provide:
- Apostolic Fellowship
- Connections & Networking – Bringing ministers together worldwide.
- Accountability & Support – Strengthening leaders spiritually and practically.
- Ordination & Recognition – Affirming and commissioning those called to serve.
- Impartation & Anointing – Releasing the empowering for ministry
- Ongoing Support & Cataloged Documentation – Certification for recommendation (ID)
Through these elements, we equip and release ministers into their God-given callings, ensuring they don’t fall back into routine but instead walk boldly in their purpose.
A Ministry of Revival & Transformation:
CFE is dedicated to reviving the Church—breaking free from religious captivity and restoring the power of revelation, the Spirit, and the Word.
Everywhere Alan and Jenny have gone, they have established prayer meetings that have sparked salvation, healing, and deliverance. Many of these gatherings have grown into full-fledged ministries.
Their work is:
- Multiracial & Multiethnic, impacting people from all backgrounds.
- Focused on Spiritual Maturity, helping believers develop a strong foundation to stand firm in their calling.
- Committed to Raising Leaders, equipping Timothys and helping them grow in their divine calling.
The Power & Demonstration of the Holy Spirit:
CFE believes in the dynamic power of the Holy Spirit—who moves like fire upon the altar, igniting those who lay down their lives to serve God. Through this ministry, the backslidden return, the called are equipped, and the weak are empowered to confound the wise.
I have always lived by one foundational belief:
“The voice of God is all the provision you need.”
Without intimacy with the Holy Spirit, no one can be truly effective for God. CFE’s mission is to help leaders develop that vital connection with God and with each other, ensuring they walk in divine alignment and purpose.
