Our Mission

First of all, as an apostle who has been traveling for many years (see profile here), my passion is to advance the Kingdom of God through His Body and to see the Lord raise up mature, prophetic people in an apostolically anointed Church (Ephesians 4:12).

In 2007, after years of developing bible schools and teaching academies, Lifestyle International Christian University (LICU) was born.

And as an apostolic teaching facility (a legitimate part of the Body of Christ) we have put together a powerful four-fold mission mandate update:

1. To equip 20,000 pastors and leaders, who desire to be enriched and equipped through studying in-depth courses on undergraduate, graduate and post-graduate level, leading up to a Bachelor (at least), Master and Doctorate of Ministry degree, or even a PhD.

Our heart is to reach and equip as many pastors as possible in order to bring revival through the impartation and revelation of God’s Word. So that they may know how to rightly divide and correctly handle God’s Word of truth (2 Timothy 2:15 KJV/NIV); operating within the perfect harmony and marriage of God’s Word and Spirit.

When we are able to reach leaders, this ensures the rest of the Body is reached too, with the sole purpose of helping them, “become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ” (Ephesians 4:13 NIV). Remembering that every believer needs to understand his/her work is not a secular calling, but rather a God assigned mission.

It has to be said that the power of God without the Word, is formless. WE MUST KNOW HIS WORD. Keeping away from deception and mixtures that make us fall into ditches on either side of the road that we’re called to travel.

People are desperate for religion and man made traditions, however Jesus wants us to fully comprehend that we are each called to a royal priesthood. To stand in faith by His grace (John 3:16 and Romans 8:14) and covet an intimate relationship with Him on a daily basis (A LIVING CONNECTION).

2. To equip 500,000 believers; it is also our heart to impact the Body of Christ globally (not unlike my passion for leaders), to help train and equip all believers with sound doctrine, so that they might walk in overcoming faith. Believing that every potential student will develop and find his/her place within the Body of Christ and fulfil their divine race.

It is also our heart to impact the Body of Christ globally (not unlike my passion for leaders), to help train and equip all believers with sound doctrine, so that they might walk in overcoming faith. Believing that every potential student will develop and find his/her place within the Body of Christ and fulfil their divine race.

In fact, all LICU students must complete all of the 9 foundational courses before they can progress through to the subjects of their choice, (see here for more).

Our team of Executive Directors and qualified professors (are all seasoned apostolic ministries, some of whom represent hundreds of churches, i.e. thousands of believers) are ready, willing and able to help each and every one of our students, progress to the next level of their learning journey. Each of them, are gifted in different ways and can therefore bring a varied but also individual passion (anointing and impartation), and areas of expertise that will increase the lives of our students, to the table.

We have awesome courses that capture the student’s attention, increase engagement and improve learning efficiency. In other words there’s something for everyone here at LICU!

In this context, whether we’re called to the market place or to full time ministry, both require a sound understanding and knowledge of God’s Word and a grasp of God’s Kingdom and how it functions here on this earth through the lives of believers, who are filled with the Holy Spirit (Romans 8:14; 14:17).

Whatever we are doing in life, it must be to the glory of God and as a result of His calling upon our lives (Colossians 3:16-17). We must know that what we are doing is a call from God. Each and every one of us should be living in the express knowledge of the will of God regarding our personal lives (Isaiah 1:19). And to be an influence where He has placed us.

3. To raise up thousands of Entrepreneurs; God has also given us a mandate to raise up entrepreneurs. Entrepreneurship is so very important for the times we’re living in. After Covid-19 an increasing number of people are working from home and seeing how they can reinvent their lives through starting businesses.

God has also given me a mandate to raise up entrepreneurs. Entrepreneurship is so very important for the times we’re living in. After Covid-19 an increasing number of people are working from home and seeing how they can reinvent their lives through starting businesses.

Of course the main textbook for LICU is the bible! Theology always comes first. But we are working very hard to develop some up-to-date entrepreneurial materials and to make these very relevant courses available.

I can’t reiterate enough how important self-employment is and how vital it’s become in today’s world. We recognise that believers in the body of Christ, need to upgrade their knowledge and skills in this area.

There’s “Secular Commerce” and then there’s “Kingdom Wealth.” Plus there’s what’s known as the “Joseph Anointing” and the “Elijah Revolution.” God’s Spirit is not delinquent, in any of these areas. So let’s ride the current financial storms together and allow God’s Word and His Spirit to redefine what it means to be a God anointed and divinely appointed entrepreneur!

Note: According to Cambridge English, the basic definition of entrepreneur is as follows: “Someone who makes money by starting their own business, especially when this involves seeing a new opportunity and taking risks.”

4. And finally, to equip the “Next Generation” of Youth; this is a one or two-year training program, where they receive a “First and Second Year Certificate in Theology.” Upon completion and turning 18 years of age, they then can continue their studies by entering directly into the undergraduate program, studying for their “Diploma in Theology” and further levels.
