How to use the Student’s Handbook

The Student’s Handbook Foundation Course has been designed to aid and enhance students on their journey as part of the LICU student body. It is the first course of their academic term (worth 3 credit hours); and also part of the enrolment process, and therefore needs to be completed by all students.
This provides general information and details concerning accreditation, your faculty members, the university programs, tuition details, as well general policies and regulations, and specific correspondence students guidelines. This foundation course also helps you understand the academic calendar and your study process and requirements involved when it comes to your course work and grading guidelines.
Furthermore specific details can be found concerning the ministry practicum and monthly counselling forms which are included in the appendix along with any other forms that are needed during your studies here at LICU.
Finally this course informs you about the certification and graduation details, as well as providing those who have not enrolled yet but are looking to join this exciting university, with entrance and application requirements. Our statement of faith concerning LICU’s beliefs may be found towards the back of this foundation course.
Please remember to fill in and submit the Student Handbook Affidavit along with the Handbook exam, once you have studied the entire handbook and attended (or listened to the recording of) your orientation day. The affidavit and exam are needed to complete your application process here at LICU, as part of your entrance requirement (please see exam cover page for further details).
For any questions you are very welcome to contact the main office at any time or visit our website at www.alanpatemanworldmissions.com to find out more information about the university, board members and vision etc. Alternatively connect with us through our Facebook page: www.facebook.com/AlanandJennyPateman – where you can meet other students and friends of LICU.
