Upon completion of your requirements as set out in your assessment letter that you receive at the beginning of your studies you will receive your next certificate/degree.
General Graduation Requirements
1. Every student needs to fulfil the program one courses as we believe they are a foundation that students need to receive. Exceptions are only for those who have satisfactorily fulfilled these courses in previous institutions (please see your academic assessment for further details).
2. LICU only awards certificates/degrees to students who have fulfilled a minimum of 30 credit hours with this university.
3. Undergraduate students must maintain a 2.0 or greater cumulative GPA at all times in courses taken at LICU, graduate students need to maintain a 3.0 or greater cumulative GPA in courses attended at LICU.
4. Students have to hand in their “Ministry Practicum Form”(Stu-4-LICU) including the record of new studentsintroduced to LICU during their academic term (minimum of 1 student – applicable to ALL students including master and doctoral students) along with the registration form for their final course. The “Monthly Counselling Form”(Stu-3-LICU) also needs to be received by the LICU office one week prior to the least course meeting (for correspondence students, with their final course registration).
5. All financial liabilities have to be balanced prior to graduation.
6. Concerning writing tasks (bachelor’s & master’s thesis, doctoral dissertation), only students whose thesis or dissertation has been finalised and bound are entitled to walk graduation and to receive their certificate (for further details please see writing guidelines).
