Cherishing the Name of this University
From the outset we have cherished the name of this university. “Lifestyle” is everything to God and should be for us. After all who can advance in knowledge while their lifestyle completely slips God’s radar? It is not possible. If the Holy Spirit truly walks and talks with us daily, then His supernatural presence radically changes us from the inside out.
While this university embraces high quality Christian education, it does not do so at the expense of the supernatural. Nor does it value academia higher than the authenticity of the Christian lifestyle. Supernatural knowledge enhances lifestyle! LICU is geared to the student’s spiritual advancement.
Today’s world is largely dedicated to information-overload, but LICU is dedicated to heaven’s down-load! The spirit of revelation is the force behind this university program. We encourage a deep walk with the Holy Spirit along with an abandoned dedication to God’s Logos and Rhema Word. We encourage all students to be carriers of divine revelation and to sharing their experience with family and friends, encouraging others to join them on this journey of spiritual training, becoming disciples who expand the kingdom of God throughout their generation.
Once fully integrated into these study courses each student will be elevated beyond mere knowledge and prepared for an overcoming lifestyle in Christ. Impartation, dedication and diligence, are three major pillars in any student’s life. Only the seriously dedicated, who truly seek maturity and are willing to apply themselves, will be able to rightly divide God’s Word in their lives.
Finally I encourage each student to de-tangle their lives from civilian affairs and to embrace the purposes of God in their supernatural development.
